Current Special One-Time Sessions:

Kora around dalai Lama temple

Welcome to the page of the current offering in this series of “site specific sessions,” one-time sessions offered for a limited time in specific locations.

our bodies exist in particular times and spaces

I think the sensorial nature sessions I offered a few years ago were particularly special because we acknowledged this fact and worked with it.

Then, I offered stupa sessions in Boudhanath, Kathmandu, Nepal, where there's a really powerful "wish-fulfilling" stupa (in Buddhism, a spherical structure containing relics). these sessions were also really sweet.

Now, I’m entering my last week in India (cue sad music) after 9 months in Southeast Asia, and the themed session I’m offering are to join me for kora (circumambulation) around the Dalai Lama’s temple in Dharamshala.

Receive embodied guidance (meditation & coaching stimulating your own wisdom) from the kora (circumambulation) around the Dalai Lama’s temple

only available through March 23, 2024!

Here's how these work:

  • I’ll be at the kora (circumambulation) around the Dalai Lama’s temple, which is about one mile of beauty. You’ll be there with me.

  • You chose where you be, whether you want to invoke some ritual or not -- totally up to you. We'll engage in the process outlined below.

  • You'll share a topic you're yearning for internal guidance on -- a decision, somewhere you feel stuck, and/or something you're wanting.

  • I’ll offer personalized guided meditation, questions, reflections and a compassionate space from which your wisdom can emerge.

  • We’ll alternate between me walking on the kora and perhaps stopping to guide a short personalized meditation, turning some prayer wheels or otherwise creatively flowing with the energy of the space and what you’re needing.

  • We might chose to do a ritual of some sort - either me, or you, or both of us. For example, I can offer a butterlamp for you during or after the session. I can also submit a prayer request to the Dalai Lama temple after our session.

  • You'll walk away with a nugget to take with you -- a practice, clarity, a question, an experience, an experiment...

  • If you’d, I can record the session so you can use the meditation that was customized for you again.

  • I’ll check in with you in a month to see how it’s going, if you’d like.

  • Necessary: you need to be up for being my co-adventurer in terms of the possible/probable challenges of embarking on this together (ie possible connection difficulties, background noise etc.) I believe in us and it being worth it, but do know that it’s not like I will be in a sound proof room with the best internet ;) The kora is a very alive place, which is kind of the point. At least in Nepal background noise was minimal and actually supportive.

Two options of how to connect

For an asynchronous session, we’ll follow the same steps except that I’ll do the kora on my own after I’ve received the initial information from you. I’ll offer questions and a meditation from there, you’ll respond and we’ll go back and forth over a few days. We’ll do this via an online messaging platform — text, voice notes and photos/images all welcome (WhatsApp, iMessage or Voxer).
Deadline: be in touch by March 20th at the latest.

Practical Details

  • Live sessions around around 40-60 minutes, depending on what’s needed.

  • Asynchronous sessions can happen over a few days, depending on your schedule, but deadline to register is March 20th, 2024.

  • Investment: $108

Testimonial from Stupa Session

“Elizabeth created space and listened attentively as I shared what I felt I needed from the session. Then, their gentle and sure meditation guidance helped me pause, soften, and open to the message that I needed to hear in my heart. After the meditation, together, we crafted a small ritual on the spot to address and heal what was alive for me.

All this took place in one of the world's most sacred spaces, a place I deeply love; being able to connect to them all the way across the world in this holy place was incredibly profound and powerful.

I could hear the prayer wheels turning and the monks chanting. Everything was so beautiful. I know the memory is going to be an unforgettable treasure that I'll return to again and again.

Questions You May Have

Do I have to be religious or spiritual? No

Do you have to be Buddhist? Absolutely not

I’m a friend and would like to do this… can I sign up? Will it be weird? If you’d like to you’re totally welcome! I’ve hired friends and friends have hired me in the past and I think it can be really sweet — there’s already the trust there, and this is just one particular container in which we can support each other.
